We are pleased to announce that the University of Exeter will be hosting
the 2018 British Branch meeting of the International Glaciological
Society on Tuesday 4th and Wednesday 5th September 2018. The conference will include oral and poster presentations, spread
over two days, and abstracts are invited on any aspect of snow and ice rese
arch.

Registration will close at 4pm on the 29th June 2018.
The main Streatham campus is set within a country estate overlooking the
city of Exeter, with the grounds registered as a botanic garden and arbore
tum, complete with a sculpture trail for the artistically minded. Set in th
e county of Devon, which is a “stunning county of great contrasts, with two
beautiful coastlines, two National Parks and five official Areas of Outsta
nding Natural Beauty” (Visit Devon website), there is plenty for the outdoo
r enthusiast.
The conference dinner will take place on campus at Reed Hall: “A stunning grade II listed building, a hidden treasure nestled in 3 00 acres of enchanting landscaped gardens” (Reed Hall website). The dinner can be booked at the same time as registration on the online store.
