DESCRIPTION:From 18-20 October 2017, Polar CORDEX (Coordinated Regional Dynamical Exper
 iment – Arctic and Antarctic domains) will have a meeting hosted at the Bri
 tish Antarctic Survey, Cambridge, UK.\nOverall workshop objectives\nThe pri
 mary goal of the meeting is to review the status of on-going Polar CORDEX a
 ctivities and to plan and coordinate future activities. This will be the fi
 rst time that a joint Arctic- and Antarctic-Polar CORDEX meeting will be he
 ld, enabling participants from both communities to benefit by interacting c
 losely. There will be plenty of time for discussions. All research groups t
 hat have started or are planning to contribute to Polar CORDEX activities, 
 either by performing simulations or analysing Polar CORDEX data, are welcom
 e to give presentations on their activities.\nPreliminary Agenda\n\n - Some
  initial ideas for sessions are for the following topics:\n - Model evaluat
