DESCRIPTION:We are happy to announce that the 2.5 ECTS Ice Core Analysis and Techniques
  (ICAT) PhD school (images/Heike/ICATPoster2017.pdf) will run again this ye
 ar at the Centre for Ice and Climate, Niels Bohr Institute, University of C
 openhagen, Denmark. The Phd school will take place from Sept 25-30th 2017. 
 Deadline for application is June 1st.\nICAT aims to educate a new generatio
 n of ice core researchers and foster a collaborative environment for future
  glaciological projects. This course will educate young scientists regardin
 g new methods developed for the analysis of ice cores with regard to climat
 e research, with dedicated theoretical and laboratory exercise sessions.\nW
 e hope that you will help advertise this exciting PhD school to PhD student
 s and junior postdocs who conduct ice core analysis or are users of ice cor
 e data (glaciological, oceanographic, climate modelers, earth scientists).\
