DESCRIPTION:<p>We are happy to announce that the <a href="images/Heike/ICATPoster2017.p
 df" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"><strong>2.5 ECTS Ice Core Ana
 lysis and Techniques (ICAT) PhD school</strong></a> will run again this yea
 r at the Centre for Ice and Climate, Niels Bohr Institute, University of Co
 penhagen, Denmark. The Phd school will take place from Sept 25-30th 2017. D
 eadline for application is June 1st.</p><p><strong>ICAT</strong> aims to ed
 ucate a new generation of ice core researchers and foster a collaborative e
 nvironment for future glaciological projects. This course will educate youn
 g scientists regarding new methods developed for the analysis of ice cores 
 with regard to climate research, with dedicated theoretical and laboratory 
 exercise sessions.</p><p>We hope that you will help advertise this exciting
  PhD school to <strong>PhD students and junior postdocs who conduct ice cor
 e analysis or are users of ice core data</strong> (glaciological, oceanogra
 phic, climate modelers, earth scientists).</p><p>More information in the li

 vel support for a limited number of students from EPICA partner countries.<
