In this online seminar, Arctic PASSION is introducing its recently launc hed Arctic Communities Event Databases, a major hub for Indigenous Knowledg e and local Knowledge. The databases collect observations, oral histories a nd knowledge about climatic, ecological and socio-cultural changes in the A rctic. This multifaceted knowledge from hundreds of knowledge holders along the Arctic seas is useful for Indigenous Peoples’ communities, local commu nities, respective governance structures and also the science community to connect their own research with Indigenous and local observations and to le arn about the local context of Arctic communities.
