 nformation</a>)</p><p>The course provides a basic introduction to the dynam
 ics of glaciers and ice sheets with a focus on ice-climate interactions. To
 pics include: continuum mechanics, sliding and hydraulics, numerical modell
 ing, polar meteorology, ice-ocean interaction, ice cores, interaction of ic
 e sheets with the solid earth, etc. The course is meant for Ph.D. students 
 that work on a glaciology-related climate project. Some places are availabl
 e for junior scientists. The course corresponds to 3 EC credit points.</p><
