DESCRIPTION:The next Workshop on the Dynamics and Mass Budget of Arctic Glaciers & 
 IASC Network on Arctic Glaciology (NAG) meeting will be held in person on 2
 2-24 January 2024 in Obergurgl, Austria. In addition to the general worksho
 p on Arctic glaciology, the meeting will include a special cross-cutting se
 ssion on “Societal impacts of glacier and snow cover changes in a warming A
 rctic”, aiming to bring together glaciologists, atmospheric scientists, soc
 ial scientists and indigenous knowledge holders. We will welcome contributi
 ons in the form of oral presentations and posters. With funding from IASC w
 e will be able to provide travel support for a number of early career resea
 rchers. Registration and abstract submission will open in September.  More
