DESCRIPTION:We are excited to announce that the 79th annual Eastern Snow Conference wil
 l be held at the Nurture Nature Center in Easton, Pennsylvania, 6-8 June 20
 23.\nPresentations on all physical and social aspects of snow and ice resea
 rch are welcome, including, but not limited to, in situ and remote measurem
 ent of snow and ice covers, snow ecology, new advances in snow and ice obse
 rvation technology, and social interactions with snow.\nAbstracts can be su
 bmitted here (https://www.easternsnow.org/abstract-submission-1), where you
  will also find abstract guidelines and a template. Abstracts are due by Ma
 rch 14. Student submissions are highly encouraged; all students submissions
  are eligible for awards and students should identify their status for cons
 ideration.\nThe <a href="https://nurturenaturecenter.org/" tabindex="0">Nur
 ture Nature Center</a> is dedicated to engaging the public in learning abou
 t environmental risks and has an active group of programs working with the 
 community and school centering on science, art, and community. The conferen
 ce program will include a Science on a Sphere show, and they have beautiful
  gallery and meeting spaces. Easton is located at the confluence of the Leh
 igh and Delaware Rivers and is not far from the ABE, EWR, and PHL airports.
  A suite of rooms has been held at the Grand Eastonian (https://grandeaston
 ian.com/) hotel; to get their special rate, contact the hotel at (610) 258-
 6350 and mention the date of the ESC. A government rate is also available. 
 Room availability is limited so book early. More accommodation possibilitie
