We are excited to announce that the 79th annual Eastern Snow Co nference will be held at the Nurture Nature Center in Easton, Pennsylvania, 6-8 June 2023.
Presentations on all physical and social asp ects of snow and ice research are welcome, including, but not limited to, i n situ and remote measurement of snow and ice covers, snow ecology, new adv ances in snow and ice observation technology, and social interactions with snow.
Abstracts can be submitted here, where you will also find abstract guidelines and a template. Abstracts are due by Marc h 14. Student submissions are highly encouraged; all students subm issions are eligible for awards and students should identify their status f or consideration.
The Nurture Nature Center is dedicated to engaging the pu blic in learning about environmental risks and has an active group of progr ams working with the community and school centering on science, art, and co mmunity. The conference program will include a Science on a Sphere show, an d they have beautiful gallery and meeting spaces. Easton is located at the confluence of the Lehigh and Delaware Rivers and is not far from the ABE, E WR, and PHL airports.
