 rence for UK marine science this year marks 150 years since the Challenger

 xxxxxxmsonormal">The meeting will be hosted by the Natural History Museum a
 nd Imperial College London from the 6th to 8th September 2022. The meeting 
 will be held in person at the Royal Geographical Society, the Natural Histo
 ry Museum and Imperial College in South Kensington, London. &nbsp;<span sty

  very broad session on the links between the cryosphere and marine science 
 which may be of interest to some of you. The abstract submission is this Fr

 oration: underline;"></span></h3><p>The polar regions are undergoing a rapi
 d transition due to the changing climate and there is significant uncertain
 ty concerning how these environments will evolve in the coming decades to c
 enturies. Understanding ocean conditions is key, not only to making accurat
 e sea level projections, but also because changes in these regions have con
 sequences for global ocean dynamics as well as associated biological and ch
 emical processes.&nbsp;<span style="text-decoration: underline;"></span><sp
 an style="text-decoration: underline;"></span></p><p>The aim of this sessio
 n is to bring together a diverse group of marine scientists working on the 
 oceanography, chemistry, and biology of the shelf seas, sea ice, ice shelf 
 cavities and tidewater glacier fjords of Greenland and Antarctica. We welco
 me submissions based on remote sensing, direct observations, paleo studies,
  model simulations, developments and theoretical advances that address the 
 physical, chemical and biological drivers and processes operating in these 
 crucial climactic regions, and the influence that they exert on the ocean b
