  Arctic in the Anthropocene” (21 – 24 February 2023) </a>is open until 20 S
eptember 2022.\n\nNever before has the Arctic experienced such a high press
ure by human impact either by local environmental disturbances or by global
climate change leading to long-term changes and massive challenges to the
resistance and resilience of polar ecological systems and Arctic societies.
“The Arctic in the Anthropocene” is a quite appropriate theme to focus on
the increasing pressure of high latitudes. Several sessions offer space to
shed light on short- and long-term changes, respectively, on human, terrest
rial, aquatic or aerial systems. Despite the focus on the Arctic, contribut
ions on the Antarctic, aiming at fostering networking and advances on resea
rch on both poles, are accepted and appreciated.\n\nAbstract submission is
open for the following sessions:  <a href="https://assw.info/programme/scie

one oral and one poster presentation. Abstracts text is limited to 1500 ch
aracters and the title should not be longer than 150 characters. The notifi
cation on abstract acceptance will be made by mid-November 2022, with the p
rogramme being presented in December 2022. Oral presentations will be up to
