DESCRIPTION:Svalbard Integrated Arctic Earth Observing System (SIOS) is organizing a we
 ek-long training course on AI applications in Svalbard (AI4Svalbard) during
  5-9 Sept. 2022, in Longyearbyen, Svalbard. You can find more information r

  The application deadline is on 15th May 2022.\nThe course is intended for 
 scientists, master/Ph.D. students, engineers and technicians with no or mod
 est experience with AI and machine learning in their research. Basic knowle
 dge of programming languages (python) is preferable.\nThis training course 
 will consist of four components (1) lightning talks by eminent speakers fro
 m the AI field (2) lecture series and hands-on sessions by AI experts (3) f
 ield excursions and (4) mini-project development after the training course.
  There is no cost for registration but participants are expected to cover t
 heir own accommodation, travel and associated costs.\nFeel free to share th
