DESCRIPTION:North x North is an annual program of the Anchorage Museum that celebrates 
 connection, creativity, imagination and innovation across Alaska and the No
 rthern regions and convenes people worldwide for a discussion about possibl
 e futures and the potential of place, people, and planet.\nThe Museum’s Nor
 th x North Festival will occur April 6-9, 2022 in Anchorage, in collaborati
 on with The Arctic Encounter and other community partners. The Festival wil
 l include art installations and creative workshops, and conversations, as w
 ell as film screenings in collaboration with the Tromsø International Film 
 Festival. Just prior to the Festival we will work with Stuart Hyatt on an a
 lbum release for Stations. Stations is a sculptural installation by Hyatt t
 hat combines the scientific method with the creative process, engaging visi
 tors with a new type of subterranean map––part of the Museum's Counter Cart
 ographies project and series of exhibitions in 2021-2022.\nThe North x Nort
 h Summit will be held in fall 2022, with conversations about future landsca
 pes. We also connect throughout the year to creative practice and ideas.\nN
 orth x North will also connect to the My Climate Object project in collabor
 ation with the Climate Museum in NYC, the Australian Museum, the Natural Hi
 story Museum (London), the Australian Museum, the Museum of Tomorrow in Bra
 zil, the Nigerian National Museum, the Museum of the United Nations.\nCheck
