DESCRIPTION:<p style="text-align: justify;">Join us for the <strong>89th Annual Western
  Snow Conference, April 18-21, 2022</strong>, at the University of Utah in 
 Salt Lake City. This year's theme is <em>Drought, Fire, and Precipitation E
 xtremes: Operational Challenges for Snow Water Resources.</em>&nbsp;(Howeve
 r,&nbsp;all snow-related research in the context of measurements, modeling,
  and water supply are welcome.) <strong>Abstract deadline has been extended
  to February 15th.&nbsp;</strong></p><div style="text-align: justify;"><spa
 n style="font-family: arial, sans-serif;">The&nbsp;short course on Monday (
 18th) is being planned by the US National Weather Service, Colorado Basin R
 iver Forecast Center.&nbsp;</span>Oral and poster presentations will take p
 lace on Tuesday and Wednesday (19th-20th). The technical tour on Thursday (
 21st) is&nbsp;being&nbsp;organized by the USDA Natural Resources Conservati
 on Service, Utah Snow Survey Program.</div><div style="text-align: justify;
