DESCRIPTION:Due to COVID-19 measures our symposium “For Sustainability in the Polar Reg
 ions“ will be held 17 March 2022! See further information here (images/Arti
 cles/Files/announcement_-_RunaIris.pdf).\n\nYou are warmly invited to join 
 the annual Polar Symposium. NPP-NWO, <a href="https://apecsnetherlands.com/
 " target="_blank" rel="noopener">APECS Netherlands</a> and the Dutch Arctic
  Circle (DAC) joined forces to once again present a day full of state-of-th
 e-art polar science, relevant results, new developments and most of all net
 working opportunities. We will link scientific insights with the developmen
 t of activities in the Arctic and governance.\nThis symposium will be our m
 ain focus in the midst of a week full of other polar activities to be annou
 nced later. Registration for the symposium is free, but required for attend
 ing. Our location this year is at the Museon. This opens up the opportunity
  to accommodate more people than ever during our symposium. Still capacity 
 is, only if COVID-19 restrictions do not apply anymore, limited to 250 peop
 le. The symposium will be held in English. You are kindly invited to presen
 t a poster during the Symposium and can choose to register for this in the
