 the <strong>Sixth International Summer School in Glaciology</strong> organi
 zed by the University of Alaska, Fairbanks (UAF)/Oslo University, will (hop
 efully) be held in McCarthy, central Alaska, from <strong>7&nbsp;to 17 June
  2022</strong>&nbsp;(just before the IGS&nbsp;Symposium on Maritime Glacier

 y;">&nbsp;</div><div style="text-align: justify;">The summer school will pr
 ovide a comprehensive overview of the physics of glaciers and current resea
 rch frontiers in glaciology with focus on quantitative glaciology and remot
 e sensing. The course is open to 28 graduate students from around the world
  targeting primarily early stage PhD students who perform glacier-related r
 esearch. It will be taught by faculty of UAF’s glaciology group and several
  invited guest instructors from outside Alaska.</div><div style="text-align
