DESCRIPTION:The 2020 Alpine Glaciology Meeting (AGM) will be held by the University of 
 Milano in cooperation with University of Milano-Bicocca in Milan, Italy.\nT
 he meeting is an occasion for both young and more experienced researchers w
 orking on snow, glaciers, permafrost regions and glacial geomorphology not 
 limited to the Alps to present their work in an informal context. We would 
 like to especially encourage young researchers to present their work and bo
 th oral and poster presentations are welcome.\nThere is no registration fee
  to the meeting, but we recommend to book your accommodation in advance, si
 nce Milan is a beloved tourist destination all year round.\n \nThe organizi
 ng committee will soon post more information on a dedicated web page, inclu
 ding details on how to register and submit a contribution.\nA second announ
 cement will also follow with the call for abstracts\nDeadlines (will be upd
