SUMMARY:Young Scientists Summer Program 2020
DESCRIPTION:The program is designed for PhD students (ideally about 2 years prior to re
 ceiving their PhD) working on a topic compatible with ongoing research at I
 IASA and a wish to explore the policy implications of their work. Participa
 nts will be working under the direct supervision of an experienced IIASA sc
 ientist in a unique interdisciplinary and international research environmen
 t. They will produce a paper (serving as first step towards a publishable j
 ournal article) and will get the opportunity to build up contacts for futur
 e collaboration within IIASA's worldwide network.\nApplicants can choose to
  work with up to two programs. If there is additional is interest in one of
  our flagship projects this can be indicated in the box provided in the app
 lication form (under "please justify your choice of programs here"). We str
 ongly encourage contacting the various PROGRAM REPRESENTATIVES (https://www
