DESCRIPTION:Welcome back to the SCAR Newsletter!\nWe are delighted to be relaunching th
 e SCAR newsletter, a regular update from the SCAR Secretariat containing ne
 ws, events, and opportunities from and for the SCAR community and beyond.\n
 It's been a while since we last posted a newsletter, so this one's a bit lo
 nger than usual. We have included a review of the highly successful SC-HASS
  (Standing Committee on Humanities and Social Sciences) meeting in Ushuaia 
 last month, as well as an update on plans for SCAR’s Open Science Conferenc
 e in Hobart in July/August 2020. We need your help to put together a stimul
 ating and comprehensive agenda that meets the community's needs. So please

  a survey to help with the SCAR executive committee’s ongoing structural re
 view. This review was requested by the SCAR Delegates at their 2018 meeting
  and aims to review SCAR programmes, activities and committees to ensure th
 ey continue to be fit-for-purpose as the science need evolves. We’d really
