 tribution of Earth Observation in Monitoring, forecasting and understanding
  cryosphere and hydrosphere  \nThe conference will use innovative workshop-
 based formats to promote deeper discussion and knowledge exchange than stan
 dard conference formats offer, and we hope to not only establish a current 
 state of the art knowledge, but also identify key future research needs and
  foster ongoing collaborative research through this approach. This is a tim
 ely opportunity, and suitable setting, to develop valuable review papers an
 d identify remaining gaps in the forthcoming IPCC AR6 Cross-Chapter-Paper o
