 versity of Minas Gerais, Brazil\nThe event celebrates the 10th anniversary 
 of the creation of the Brazilian APECS committee and from the last Internat
 ional Polar Year. In addition to celebrating our first decade of existence,
  we want to offer the opportunity for an open dialogue not only about polar
  science, but also on the role of APECS-Brazil in spreading science to soci
 ety and the strategies to insert polar topics into the classroom. The sympo
 sium is an event with a scientific focus, where the scientific community ca
 n discuss the advances and new discoveries of any area related to polar sci
 ence. It's a great opportunity to get acquainted with polar science, build 
 partnerships and bring new ideas to address pole-related issues in the clas
 sroom. We are preparing a high-level scientific event, which will include t
 he participation of senior and early career researchers from Brazil and abr
 oad!\nAbstract submission has been extended to 30th March, 2018.\nRegistrat
 ion is open and should be done through the APECS Brazil website (https://ww
