 re POLAR2018 - the joint SCAR and IASC Conference - in Davos, Switzerland, 
 the theme for this two-day event on 17-18 June 2017 will be “Connecting the
  Poles.”\nDay one (Sunday, 17 June) of the APECS World Summit 2018 will bri
 ng together official representatives from the APECS National Committees and
  APECS’ leadership to discuss APECS projects and the current and future sta
 te of collaborative research between polar regions. Day two (Monday, 18 Jun
 e) is an open workshop for all interested early career researchers attendin
 g POLAR2018, focusing on interdisciplinary research, collaboration and exch
