DESCRIPTION:The China-Nordic Arctic Cooperation Symposium is the annual meeting of the 
 China-Nordic Arctic Research Center (CNARC), a network of eleven Member Ins
 titutes, five Chinese and six Nordic, which all have capacities to influenc
 e and coordinate Arctic research. CNARC’s purpose is to provide a platform 
 for academic cooperation to increase awareness, understanding and knowledge
  of the Arctic and its global impacts, as well as to promote cooperation fo
 r sustainable development of the Nordic Arctic and coherent development of 
 China in a global context.\nThis year the event will be hosted by the Arcti
 c Centre, University of Lapland that kindly invites members of scientific, 
 policy and business communities to attend the Symposium on 6-9 June 2016. T
 he Symposium will consist of two parts: the academic conference and the bus
 iness roundtable (upon invitations) - to enable exchanges between intereste
