 We would be grateful if you could circulate this opportunity within your Ar
 ctic research networks.\nIn addition to data preservation and discovery ser
 vice and tools, the Arctic Data Center provides training in data science an
 d data management. These are critical skills for the stewardship of data, s
 oftware, and many other research products that are preserved at the Arctic 
 Data Center. A goal of the center is to advance data archiving and promote 
 reproducible science and data reuse.\nThe Arctic Data Center has opened a c
 all for applications to the summer Data Science Training for Arctic Researc
 hers. This 2-day workshop, to be held in Santa Barbara, CA July 31st – Augu
 st 1st, will provide researchers with an overview of best data management p
 ractices, data science tools and concrete steps and methods for more easily
  documenting and uploading their data to the Arctic Data Center. Participan
 ts will receive support to attend the meeting and early- and established-ca
 reer researchers from the Arctic community are encouraged to apply; there i
 s no research domain specificity.\nThe deadline for applications is Monday
