 onference, September 11-12, 2017 Switzerland, Crans-Montana.\nWe invite con
 tributions expending upon the main topics addressed at the conference. We a
 re encouraging proposals that highlight the relations between High Altitude
 s and High Latitudes and are looking for a wide variety of disciplinary per
 spectives, including physical sciences, earth and bio sciences, as well as 
 social sciences and humanities. In addition to a conventional poster presen
 tation, all selected posters presentations will take part in flash-talk ses
 sions (120' for each session).\nIn order to mobilize PhD and Early career r
 esearchers from European and non-European research communities, we will pro
 vide partial travel and accommodation support (up to 1200 CHF). Participant
 s will be selected on the basis of an extended abstract (up to 600 words).\
