SUMMARY:Arctic PASSION Online Seminar & Dialogue “Artificial Intelligence meets an Accessible Arctic Air Quality Forecast”
LOCATION:Online
DESCRIPTION:In this online seminar, Arctic PASSION is introducing its Air Quality Forec
ast for Arctic Communities (AURORAE) Service:  (https://aurorae.azurewebsit
 es.net/)<a href="https://aurorae.azurewebsites.net/"></a>https://aurorae.az
urewebsites.net/. The AURORAE service is a web interface to monitor the air
quality of the North European countries on a daily basis. It is providing
a two-day forecast of particulate matter concentrations developed through a
n Artificial Intelligence (AI) model.\nThe  website offers an interactive m
ap showing air pollution concentration and near-real-time forecast at hourl
y resolution for over 100 sites in Northern Europe, highlighting projected
air quality conditions at each station. A daily bulletin reporting the fore
cast for all stations will be also released on a daily basis to provide a b
road overview of air pollution status for Northern communities. \nAccessibl
e air quality forecasts can help citizens and policy-makers with informed d
ecision making about their health, safety, and environmental protection. In
this online seminar we will present and demonstrate the new forecast servi
ce and discuss it with the audience. Feedback on AURORAE via this short use
 r survey <a href="https://app.sli.do/event/e5kB4Q2beKteDcT4qwMvYD"></a> (ht
