DESCRIPTION:The 21st Northern Research Basins (NRB) Symposium and Workshop "Cold-region
  hydrology in non-stationary world" will be held in Yakutsk, Russia, from 6
  to 12 August 2017.\nThis workshop will address the issues of hydrological 
 research in cold regions, both in fundamental scientific and applied aspect
 s, including the studies of snow, glaciers, permafrost, frozen ground, grou
 ndwater, seasonally frozen rivers, and lakes.\nThe workshop program will in
 clude scientific sessions, field trip to research sites, local excursions a
 nd the Lena River cruise.\nAbstract are encouraged from research topics inc
 luding:\n- Observational evidences of change in coupled permafrost-hydrolog
 y system\n- Present state and future projections of local, regional and pan
 -Arctic hydrology\n- Modelling studies representing landscape evolution, dy
 namics of water storages and permafrost degradation\n- Impacts of permafros
 t hydrology changes on local communities and any other abstracts regarding 
 hydrology, water resources and water engineering in snow-dominated and perm
