 orld interest in the region is great, so Russia will \nbe engaged with issu
 es ranging from natural resource management, trade, and commerce to climate
  \nchange, ecology, and sustainable development. The impact of climate chan
 ge on natural development \nand human activity in the Arctic region is of c
 ritical and global scale importance and is worthy of \ninternational cooper
 ative effort to address. Yet, the attention this issue receives is affected
  by \ncompetition between states and multinational corporations, with negat
 ive outcomes reflected upon \nindigenous culture, languages, and quality of
  life across the region.\n\nIn this context, U.S. Embassy Moscow, the Fulbr
 ight Program in Russia, and Institute of \nInternational Education in Mosco
 w will organize a two-day international Seminar focusing on \necological, s
 ocial, economic, and political development in the Arctic with the intention
  of furthering \ninternational collaborative research for improving quality
  of life and furthering international \ncooperation, while supporting a sus
 tainable ecological environment in the region. \n\nThe main aim of the Fulb
 right International Arctic Seminar will be to share research and provide \n
 a forum for discussion to enhance international scientific and educational 
 projects and to consolidate \nresearch in the Arctic countries. Within this
  Seminar, we intend to establish new scientific contacts \nand strengthen e
 xisting cooperation in the field of the Arctic development. \n\n\nWe cordia
 lly invite you to attend the Fulbright International Arctic Seminar to be h
 eld on March \n19-20, 2021 (online) in Moscow at the Fulbright Program in R
 ussia. \n\nThe main items to be discussed during the Seminar at the themati
 c round tables are as \nfollows, but not limited to: \n• Climate Change, Ec
