We welcome applications for a 3 year PhD studentship at the Northern Rivers Institute, School of Geosciences, University of Aberdeen, Scotland on "Linkages between hydrology and vegetation - the ecohydrology of land use and climate change". Closing date for applications is 26th February 2010. Starting date would be October 2010.
This is a major opportunity for a student interested in working at the cutting edge of ecohydrology. The student will join a successful research group in environmental hydrology. The studentship will provide strong interdisciplinary training that will integrate hydrological field monitoring, tracer sampling and multi-scale modelling studies within a GIS framework.
